GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Jordan Love, after spraining his MCL in week one of the NFL season, gave Packer fans another injury scare on Sunday when he was taken out of the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Love seemed to land awkwardly after jumping to throw and complete a pass in the first quarter of Sunday's game but remained in the game to complete the first half.

Up 13-10, Love remained in the game until he was injured on the second play of the Packers' first drive in the third quarter.

Packers backup quarterback Malik Willis then entered the game and was able to lead the team to a game-winning, walk-off Brandon McManus field goal for the second straight week.

According to the NFL's Ian Rapoport, Love underwent an MRI on Monday and the test came back as "nothing serious" and just a strained groin.

Rapoport adds that Love will "get better every day and do treatment and monitor the injury throughout the week."

Packer fans will hope to have their starting quarterback ready to go as a battle with the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions is on tap for Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field.
