GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — The Green Bay men's and women's basketball programs hosted the 2024 Phoenix Phan Night on Tuesday at the Kress Center.
The free event welcomed fans of all ages, providing a fantastic opportunity to meet the 2024-25 Phoenix basketball teams.
Pizza was generously provided by Papa John's.
Attendees enjoyed watching the Phoenix showcase their skills in competitions, including 3-point shootouts and a dunk contest. Young fans even had the chance to join players on the court during drills.
The men’s basketball team is led by first-year head coach Doug Gottlieb, while Phoenix Hall of Famer Kayla Karius is at the helm of the women’s team in her inaugural season.
The men's team will face St. Norbert in an exhibition game at the Kress Center on Oct. 24, while the women kick off their season at Kansas State on Monday, Nov. 4.
